Founded in 2019, Safari International School (SIS) has quickly become one of Ghana’s most dynamic and forward-thinking international schools. With four thriving campuses — Airport Residential, Cantonments, East Legon, and Tema (Community 6) — SIS offers a world-class education that blends academic excellence with creativity, fun, and holistic development.

Our Cantonments, Airport, and East Legon campuses provide both Early Years and Primary Years Programs, while our Tema campus currently offers an Early Years Program for learners as young as 6 months to 11 years. We take pride in being an inclusive school, supported by a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) department that ensures every child thrives.

Early Years (Toddlers, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Reception)

Our Early Years Programme follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, providing a stimulating and nurturing environment where children develop essential social, emotional, and academic skills through play-based learning.

Primary Years (Year 1 – Year 6)

The Primary Years Programme is based on the Cambridge Primary Curriculum and complemented by our status as an IB PYP Candidate School. This combination fosters inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and global awareness.

Additionally, daily French lessons are seamlessly integrated into our curriculum, promoting bilingualism and cultural appreciation from an early age.

External Examinations Offered

Cambridge Checkpoint Tests (Optional for students completing Year 6 in English, Math, and Science). The school also uses MAP Growth Tests for internal international benchmarking.

Submit the completed form, including child's date of birth and medical information.

3. Offer Letter

Receive and sign the Offer Letter which specifies class allocation and invoice.

4. Age-Based Allocation

Students are allocated to classes based on their age as of 31st August of the academic year.

Key Note for Parents

All enrollments are on an annual basis (August/September to June Academic Year). Class advancement is generally automatic, but a student may be required to repeat a grade due to low academic performance or insufficient attendance. Skipping grades is not permitted.

Annual Basis: All fees are billed on an annual basis (August/September to June) but can be paid termly (3 terms).
Due Date: Termly invoices must be settled by the end of the current term. A $100 monthly late fee penalty applies to overdue invoices.
No Refund Policy: All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. 4. Deposit: A seat deposit of $700 USD (or GHS equivalent) is often required and credited to the final tuition payment.
